We have had our Statesman triple angle float now for over two years. I hadn’t got around to emailing you to say how very happy we are with it. It tows really smoothly and light, even with three horses in. Two years on and it is still like new, absolutely no issues at all with wear and tear – there just is none! The horses are very happy in it, we have never had a horse refuse to go in yet. I have recommended Statesman Floats to many people as quite a few do come and ask. It is not just the good value for money, not only the fantastic quality and workmanship, it is the incredible service we get on an ongoing basis.

A huge “thank you” to Dave, Alana and all the staff, as they have just finished building our 2nd float, to absolute perfection. The float looks awesome on the road and tows like a dream.

It’s a fantastic 5.5 metres long Alpaca Float with 5 lots of removable internal gates, a full size cupboard with carpeted shelves with external and internal doors for easy access. This time we had 2 Barn Doors put on the back with a slide out ramp which is hidden away under the float so can be used when needed. Dave designed the ramp and it’s perfect. The long float has 4 sliding glass windows on the sides and Dave put bars over the windows so the alpacas could not get their heads out, something we didn’t even think of. Great ventilation with 3 pop up air vents. Rubber mats the full length of the float as well. It tracked beautifully on the trip home and I can’t wait for the Alpaca showing season to start again, to load up the float which will hold 15 plus alpacas in comfort and head off.

Our 1st Statesman double extended horse float is used for our Polo Horses now, and after 4 years of owning that one we still have people asking us who designed the great layout of the float. It also has a cupboard with internal & external doors, saddle rack holders & rack above the front window for extra storage.

The best part about asking Statesman Engineering to build your float is that Dave & Alana can make anything happen with your float, you only have to ask and it’s done !!!

I think a Motorbike trailer will be next one for Dave to design for us….

I wish to thank you all for your superb service and workmanship. My new Statesman float is exceptional and I am delighted with how well my horse travels and loads. I get many comments about how lovely the float looks and people are always asking to have a look inside and check it out.

The whole process of having a float built was a pleasure, from coming and meeting with Dave and seeing floats in production, to talking with Alana over email and on the phone, nothing was too hard – even when I kept adding extras and making changes!

Myself and my father were both impressed with the quality of the workmanship, after seeing around 8 – 10 different brands of horse float, Statesman is in a class of its own.

I took my 17.1hh hunter to a hunt on Saturday – it is the first time in ages that he simply walked on the float without baulking at the bottom of the ramp. He travelled beautifully. The float tows like a dream – it gave me a lot more confidence in driving with a float on. The extras are well worth it – no smelly sweaty tack and saddle blanket in my car at the end of the day.

Hi team, just thought I would send a quick email telling you how much we love the float, we used it on Saturday for the first time, the horse went straight on without batting an eyelid, I found it to be the best float I have ever towed, hardly noticed it at all on the back of the 4×4, we had lots of people at the show come and have a look and they were all very impressed with one of them saying that they are going to consider upgrading there own float to a statesman, thanks for the extra’s, they are very much appreciated, all the best for the future,

The float arrived yesterday – it is FABULOUS!!! I am so happy with it, it’s really nice. I have yet to take it for a drive but cannot wait to get out and about. It’s super roomy, and nice and tall. Definitely exceeded my expectations, well done team statesman!!!

"Having had a float built by Statesman back in 2012 I knew when i decided to upgrade that I wasn't going anywhere else. Alana & Dave's service is outstanding and their after sales is remarkable. I have just had a new build finished at end of February 2023, they finished it in time for HOY as the plan was to go. It has been back to have a few small things added and they went above and beyond and added even more than I asked for.
